Your rights under EU consumer law, clearly explained. Last updated: 29 June 2026.
If you are an EU consumer, you have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 calendar days of purchase, for any reason, and receive a full refund — no questions asked.
This right is guaranteed under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and applies to all reggatu subscriptions purchased by consumers resident in the European Union.
The 14-day period begins on the day your subscription payment is confirmed.
To exercise this right, simply contact us within 14 days using any of the methods in Section 2. You do not need to give a reason.
You will receive an email confirmation immediately. If you are within 14 days of purchase, a full refund is processed automatically.
Send an email to support@reggatu.com with the subject line "Cancellation request" and include your registered email address. We will process your request within 1 business day.
You may also use the standard EU withdrawal form. Simply send us a message stating: "I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the reggatu subscription, purchased on [date], by [your email]."
Full refund to your original payment method. Processed within 5–10 business days.
Cancellation stops future charges immediately. No refund for the current billing period, but you retain access until the period ends.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing times depend on your bank or card issuer (typically 5–10 business days after we initiate the refund).
All refund transactions are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. You will receive an email confirmation from Lemon Squeezy when the refund is initiated.
Under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive, the right of withdrawal may not apply to digital content that has been fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent. However, reggatu does not invoke this exception — we honour the full 14-day right of withdrawal for all subscribers regardless.
The following situations are not eligible for refunds:
reggatu offers a 90-day free trial with no credit card required. The 14-day right of withdrawal period begins only when you make your first paid purchase — not when you start the free trial.
You can cancel your free trial at any time with no charge and no refund needed.
If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment, you receive a full refund and your account returns to the free tier (data is preserved for 30 days).
